May 7, 2004: The 2004 International Spirit of Life Foundation Annual Awards Celebration luncheon will be held October 14, 2004.
March 10, 2004: Sean Swarner has been appointed as a second spokesperson for the ISOLF. Mr. Swarner is a two-time cancer survivor, diagnosed with Askin sarcoma in both lungs. However, he is also the first cancer survivor to summit Mt. Everest and now has a mission to summit peaks on four continents. His story and his presentation are awe-inspiring and we look forward to working with him as a member of our team.
March 1, 2004: The International Spirit of Life Foundation will present Ellen V. Sigal, PhD, Founder and Chairperson, Friends of Cancer Research, with the Community Cancer Courage Award in Washington, DC in May 2004.
February 20, 2004: The International Spirit of Life Foundation will present Robin Farias-Eisner, MD, UCLA Medical Center, with the Community Cancer Courage Award in Los Angeles, CA on April 29, 2004.
January 15, 2004: The International Spirit of Life Foundation will hold Community Cancer Courage Awards to recognize individuals or organizations who have made strides in combating cancer in their communities.
